What SatSpeedCheck collects

SatSpeedCheck does not require an account or sign-up. The site does not ask you to provide personal information to use its speed test, calculators, benchmark pages, guides, or dashboard.

The speed test runs entirely client-side in your browser. SatSpeedCheck does not receive or store your speed-test payload data or results on SatSpeedCheck servers.

Speed tests and Cloudflare

The speed test measures download, upload, and latency against Cloudflare's public edge endpoints at speed.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare is a third-party service that processes the test traffic sent to those endpoints.

Local storage and cookies

Test results and history are stored locally in your browser's localStorage on your own device. Clearing your browser data removes that local history.

SatSpeedCheck does not currently run ads or third-party analytics. If Google AdSense or analytics are introduced later, third parties may use cookies or similar technologies. If that happens, users may be able to manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings and through browser or device cookie controls.

How to remove your local data

Because speed-test history is stored in your browser on your own device, you can remove it by clearing site data, localStorage, or browsing data for SatSpeedCheck in your browser settings.

Children's privacy

SatSpeedCheck is not directed at children under 13.
